Exhausted"? Send you six "cardiotonic agents"

Work overload, study pressure, trouble raising a baby... Have you felt "tired" recently? Today, we asked Dr. Zhang Xiaoming of Beijing Huilongguan Hospital to recommend six tips for alleviating "mental fatigue".

Mental fatigue, which is what we think of as "heart tired", is often subjective and not entirely a reflection of changes in physiological indicators. This mainly refers to the fact that people have been engaged in some monotonous and mechanical activities for a long time, and the body's biochemical changes. Due to the inhibition of central nervous cells due to continuous tension, people's enthusiasm and interest in work and life are significantly reduced, resulting in boredom.

Mental stress, study, and overwork can be said to be the culprits of "heart tired". Due to the accelerated pace of modern life and the high degree of competition, many people are afraid of losing in the competition, which leads to psychological tension and fatigue. In addition, complex information bombardment, crowded housing, noise, poor working conditions, illness, family discord, interpersonal tension, career frustration, etc., are also important factors that induce psychological fatigue.

If you are tired, you may be relieved if you take a rest and sleep. But it's not that simple to "tired" the heart. Generally speaking, mental fatigue is more complicated than physical fatigue, and it is more difficult to recover. Mental fatigue, like physical fatigue, is a deterrent mechanism in itself, forcing the body to enter a state of rest, so as to avoid further damage and play a certain protective role for the body. However, if people fail to face this point squarely at this time, do not take timely measures to eliminate fatigue, and allow it to continue to develop, excessive mental fatigue will affect physical health, and even become a cause of diseases such as heart disease, high blood pressure, gastrointestinal disease, and cancer Pathogenic factors.

   1. Breath relaxation methodTaking a deep breath can alleviate the emotional reaction that is about to explode. Inhale from the nose, slowly flow through the abdomen, and then to the ribs, and then slowly exhale these breaths from the nose, gently relaxing.

   2. Muscle relaxation method: within 3 minutes, you can repeat the following actions to relax: ① Sitdown and close your eyes. ②Continue to inhale for 6 seconds, while trying to tighten your muscles. ③ Slowly exhale the breath you have breathed in while letting your body relax, then breathe rhythmically for 20 seconds. ④ Repeat twice more.

  3. Soak in hot water: Taking a hot bath is the oldest method of sedation. To relax, it is best to soak in hot water slightly higher than your body temperature for no more than 15 minutes.

  4. Take a walk: You can go for a walk. A 10-minute relaxing walk can relieve tension and the effect can last for 1 to 2 hours.

   5. Exercise: Regular exercise may be the most practical way to relieve stress. Doing 40 minutes of exercise can reduce stress for up to 3 hours, while rest at the same time can only make you relaxed for 20 minutes.
